A 3 page research paper that discusses the differing roles of the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the National League of Nursing (NLN), two of the many professional nursing organizations that are active in the US. The ANA works for the improvement of health standards and the availability health care services and fosters high professional standards for nursing, as well as promoting the professional development of nurses and the advancement of their economic and general welfare. The NLN is primarily concerned with nursing education and has as its principal goal to promote quality nursing education, which it facilitates by providing an accreditation service.
